Sister Emmanuel Hospital, a Long Term Care Hospital, provides care to individuals and their families when they are facing medically complex situations requiring a long hospitalization. Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, pharmacists, rehabilitation therapists and others provide high acuity services to meet long term medical challenges. By working closely with Mercy Hospital, our host hospital, we offer expanded services such as surgical and clinical services beyond the scope of our direct team, and we work collaboratively to provide an expanded scope of practice and a high level of clinical expertise. Guided by our seven core values, our goal is to embrace challenges and to help our patients and families embrace theirs. Both hospitals are ministries of the Roman Catholic Church and sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, FL.
